Hi guys,
Moved here from NYC, I had no idea smog check is so strict here, my car should pass smog inspection, but it won't pass visual. I bought all the parts in NYC, so there's no carb stickers. Need help locating a smog station, that won't fail me visually.

My mods are:
Injen intake
Hondata reflash
Apexi ws exhaust
Comptech header
FLP high flow cat (only item not carb legal)

Anyone know any good recommendations in the Bay Area?

Let me know, thank you!

Louis

I have similar mods you do. when I smog, I put the stock intake back on. Maybe put your stock cat back on as well and you'll be fine. Didd they actually look at your cat? from what I remember, the place i go to doesn't check the cat.

Long story regarding my stock exhaust. I wasn't planning to mod this car, but I lowered it and hit a raised manhole cover when they were fixing the road and tore my whole exhaust off. It was raised 6 inches and me havin 4 ppl in the car, it was quite low. (Tanabe springs)

If they do a visual then your going to have to put your stock stuff back on. Cali is the worst on emissions stuff from what I have read.

Good luck !

Cat back should be fine but no cat is and I am assuming a instant fail. Not sure about intake stuff down there.

I'm in the valley and with similar mods I passed without a problem, most shops I've gone to don't actually do a visual. Just find a mom and pop smog shop and take it in, you'll be fine.
