Hey everyone Its been a while since i have been on. My work busy season is now over.

I ordered the soundgate SNHOND3 for my 2004 Non-Navi Acura TSX back in Jan 2005. I installed the unit, as per everyone instructions, and it worked fine up till about three days ago. I had the SNHOND3 installed so I could connect my XM radio directly to my stock radio. The problem I am having is – my stock radio will not switch from CD to AUX anymore as if the stock radio is not recognizing the SNHOND3. When I first installed it I simply pressed my CD/AUX button and the stock radio automatically recognized the SNHOND3. My guess is the SNHOND3 now does not work …….everything is plugged in where it should be and all my wires are new. My stock radio is working fine otherwise.

Is there a way to test whether my SNHOND3 is defected? has anyone had such a problem in the past? Are there repairs I can do? Any Advice would help.

few things u can do, First off did u disconnect the battery durring the instalation?... if not disconnect the battery completly, + and -, turn the key to start the car holding down the brake for 5 seconds, this will drain the juice from the cars computer (its okay to do), then reconnect the Battery, and Start the car up, this should Reset the Cars Computer, and it should be able to detect the SNhond3

Hmmm....busy season, you must be a CPA :D

I agree with Memphis. Try to disconnect teh battery. If that doesn't work, try to disconnected the SNHOND3 harness from the HU, turn the iginition on without it, then reconnect and turn everything back on. If you don't want to disconnect the battery then you can also just pull the proper fuse in the fuse box.
