So after so long, finally a SP Style Front Bumper

I got a company (wishes to remain anonymous) to make this, down to the very little details of the very sought after and very expensive Authentic Japanese front bumper.

Fitment is perfect to say the least, Premium Black Gel-coat is used, a metal mold was used to replicate this (very expensive) Black Dye was used in the Resin for the fiberglass just like the Japanese one.

Now many of you who know this bumper will probably already know that you do need to either use the JDM Crashbar or take off your crash bar to fit this, Keep in mind it was designed for the overseas version of our precious TSX.

I'm personally getting the JDM crash bar, but will roll around without a crash bar till I get my hands on one. I know this bumper will probably appeal only to the very few bold ones that are willing to take off crash bar or buy the JDM crash bar.

-Bumper does NOT come painted so don't ask
-Bumper is made of FRP Fibre-reinforced plastic - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
^^Just like the JDM bumper.
No It's Not Polyurethane, Authentic didn't come in Poly, and company does not plan on making it in Polyurethane.

Oh and one last thing:
If you don't like Replica's, please don't post, if you are interested in it, PLEASE PM ME.
Bumper can only be obtained by yours truly, so please PM if you want more details and price

On to the pics:

Note: Bumper was not bolted down at the time of test fitting, and it still looked damn good

Update

Update

I forgot to mention that alot of people don't like the look of raw mesh like that, including myself. So here is 3 options:

#1:Spray Paint Mesh Black, Few Coats, Then Clear Coat
#2: Plastidip, I've seen it done, and after a few coats it holds up pretty well, but still prone to chips
#3: ABS Plastic Mesh, which is what I went with, it comes in 2 sizes both available for $30 for the bigger sized holes, and $25 for the smaller sheet.

I used the bigger hole mesh for the center "mouth" and the smaller for the side vents and center grill. Looks soo good, and I imagine when the bumper gets painted then it should look 10x better. Only 1 sheet of the bigger one is needed and 1 of the smaller one.

Just wondering...is there anywhere that sells the larger holed grill to cover the "mouth" part of the bumper?

Nice Dave!!
:festive: thanks Jose, told ya I was working on it :p

Update:

Only 20 are going to be made, minus mine and the orders I got via PM, there is only 16 left. After that no more.
Some buyers want privacy/discretion so names will not be put on my "Sold To:" on my signature.

trying to keep this on topic, I pm'ed you regarding this bumper Tribex. Just for the record, I know not everyone agrees with the idea of replicas over authentic but thank you for atleast making some of the more unattainable products (in terms of cost) available to the average consumer with greater monetary priorities than $1,000+ front bumpers who still wish to modify they're vehicles in a manner they desire.

Sorry but have to point out the reasoning to why the original parts are expensive as this is the main reason why this whole thing bothers me. You know why it is cheaper to buy a replica? Its cause there was no research, design, and testing done to create the thing. They just bought one, made a mold off it, and sell it. Making it harder for the original company to make money to support building parts in the future.

Last point I am done now.
