So i replaced the tsx gears with the pnn4 si gear with lsd. Everything went well until i went for the tesr drive then the ceL came on and throwing speed sensorberror i was using my speedsensor from the tsx and i tried putting the si speedsor in but cel still on.

Any idead what needs to be done? The si speedsensor i had obvious physical dmg on it, so i am thinking replacing that.

I'm not sure but I think you should use the TSX speed sensor.
Do you think by using the Si speed sensor will the speedo look accurate, or why are you trying to use that ?
I remember I had an error like that after swapping the final gear, but after unplugging the battery the error went away.

Does the CEL appears only once you shifted in fourth? You can use any sensors, they are the same; I confirmed that in another thread.

i originally had the tsx sensor in but the cel turned on so i try the si sensor hoping it will solve the issue.

From what I understood he only changed the fourth... PNN4 is probably the transmission code...my bad. I am just wondering if it could only be a rotation mismatch between RPM and the output shaft. I am really confused because my swap was really straight forward. What year Si your gearing is coming from. Might be the pickup too far from the third gear. Did you reinstall the original spacer?

there was nothing rewired just plugs.

i tried removed the spacer from the tsx speed sensor as well but didnt help

nope eveerytime i clear it, i took it out for a test drive it wont let me pass 4500rpm and after 30 sec the cel come on. however when the cel is on i can rev freely and drives fine but no speedo reading

Do you have flash pro?

I dont know the ratios off the top of my head but if they are different from stock the stock ECU is gonna freak out. Which is what im assuming since you changed gears and now have a cel.

That is what makes no sense to me. My friend did the swap and everything is working apart the speedometer to be slightly off. I broke my reel assembly so my cruise never worked but, everything else worked well with no CEL. I have the FlashPro but, did not have any speed adjustment a that moment.

I would say the same as Vaikis but, I did reinstall the washer and it worked. You can try without but, verify it is not hitting the gear.
