This might be a dumb question, but is there a big difference between ASM and SSM? The reason I ask is you can't get an SSM rear a-spec lip anymore from Heeltoe (only painted ASM) and I only see the full lip kit in SSM on Curry. I'd rather not have to buy the whole kit if I only need the rear. If I get ASM and put it on my car (which is SSM) is it gunna look funny?

Why don't you contact John @ Curry <[email protected]> directly? I'm pretty sure you can buy the rear lip individually.

Ssm rear lip has been discontinued....
Atleast 04-05 ones have.

I have asm 06 aspec sides on my 04-05 ssm you can barely tell the difference. I tried telling a few people it was a different color and they looked at me like I was crazy. Also, I believe asm is for 06-08 models so if you order an 06 asm rear lip, it will not fit on your 05 rear bumper. I could be wrong though

It's funny, the 04-05 a-spec rear lip comes painted ASM but not SSM on Heeltoe.

Idk if you can tell but the sides are Ssm and everything else is asm

I can tell the difference. It all depends on lighting, too.
You can mainly spot the difference in daylight with the sun out.
You won't be able to spot the difference in a shaded area.

SSM has more of a blue hint to it, whereas ASM is more "silver-silver", or "the darker colour".

As for "is it gonna look funny", probably not.

You make the call, but as you can see, they are different shades of silver.
