When I bought my tsx, it came with a first year free services. Don't know exactly which services though. Just oil change?

Which services do you recommend after driving for one year?
TIRE ROTATION & BALANCE? VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT?
FRONT & REAR BRAKE SERVICE?

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Well, let's see if we can help out DLAI.

I never heard the phrase "1st year free services," but my first impression is that you seem to be misunderstanding what it meant.

You seem to be thinking it meant, some kind of batch of services at the 1-year mark.
I would have thought something totally different: that all routine servicing during the first year would be free.

I agree with Larch (what are the chances of that happening these days?) :grinno:

But here's what Acura recommends for the 20,000 mi/32,000 km/1 yr Scheduled Maintenance for NORMAL driving conditions:
Replace engine oil.
Rotate tires (follow pattern on page 276 of your owner's manual).
Replace engine oil filter.
Inspect front and rear brakes.
Check parking brake adjustment.
Inspect tie-rod ends, steering gearbox and boots.
Inspect suspension components.
Inspect drive shaft boots.
Inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS).
Inspect all fluid levels, condition of fluids and check for leaks.
#Inspect exhaust system.
#Inspect fuel lines and connections.
(# = See information on maintenance and emissions warranty, last column, page 233 in your owner's manual.)
Check engine oil and coolant at each fuel stop.
Check and adjust valve clearance, cold engine, only if noisy.

Or just go to the dealership and just say you want the 1 year scheduled maintenance. They should know already what to do.

Note that the above information is from the Owner Link feature within www.acura.com website.

Hmmm. I thought these kind of checks went the way of mechanical lifters at some point in the 50s. Hell with a DOHC engine there ARENT lifters in the conventional sense.

Is this a vtec thing?

Maybe I should go to vtec.com and read up on this kinda stuff.
