I'm in the market to get new stainless brake lines. I just want some opinions/feedback from those who currently have them.

I'd like to know which brand you own and where you purchased them.

Would it make a huge difference if I got J's racing vs. Techna Fit?

Give me your thoughts.... I'd like to purchase them tonight or tomorrow.

Don't mean to thread jack...
But is there any difference between the racingbrake, goodridge, or stoptechs? I ask cause the prices vary...is it worth it to pay $20 more for the goodridge over the racingbrake?

^^^^ i'm interested to know as well! Looking to upgrade to SS lines soon. Most likely going to go with Stoptech lines.

Sorry to thread jack, but it's on topic. Can I use OEM Acura Brake Fluid with the SS lines with no problem?

I remember that the Goodridge lines were prone to not fitting well when i was researching them back then. I had a friend who had stoptechs so went with those. Everything went well and they felt like they were quality pieces.

YOu can use OEM acura brake fluid with SS lines.

Thanks for all of your feedback... I was looking at the StopTechs and you have to buy the front and rear separately. I guess $165 is a reasonable price for both, right?

No problem. make sure you guys bleed the brake lines after installing the lines. Air bubbles get into the lines and you have to push them out. I had a buddy help me and you have him/her gently press down on the brakes (not all the way down) until you no longer see bubbles in the brake fluid lines. You'll need plastic tube to attach to the brake line nipple thing and thats where the fluid will come out from.

Also might as well do the rotors and pads while you're down there :)

About a year and its still great. No problems from the install whatsoever. Brake dust happens but its expected. It doesn't squeal and the stopping power was an improvement and i would definitely buy again if the price is right.

I have the J's Racing SS Lines on my CL9 but I honestly think they are going to be identical to the stoptech or goodridge ones. Just make sure whatever brand you get, they have the mounting brackets built into the lines.
