Have had a replacement of alternator just almost a year ago straight from the dealer and have had no issues till this past couple of months.
Last month, my car started cranking slow and at some instances barely started at all and had to turn the ignition more than 3 times to start. My friend and I took a day to take out the starter and battery to narrow down the problem.. Found that it was just a faulty battery that I purchased 2-3yrs ago from autozone. After having the starter and battery tested from both O'Reilly and Autozone everything was working like new and with no issues.
Just 2 days ago, I turned the keys into the ignition and it cranked but would start like it was having a hard time becoming turning on. Had to turn the key like 2-3 times with a 3-5 sec interval. After finally turning on I made a theory that I warmed up after turning the ignition on for so many times.
Yesterday and today, had some issues of having a slow crank.
If anyone can deduce the problem to this issue would be really great help. I plan to go back to autozone or an O'reilly nearby and have my battery and starter checked again. If worse comes to worse, will head to the dealer to have a a narrow down search on whats going on.
Thanks for the time reading this
