Hello everyone. i have been experiencing a creaking noise coming from my steering wheel.. it creaks when i turn the steering wheel slowly at iddle.. i just replaced my lower ball joint but the noise seems to still be there so idk if its rack and pinion related

Check the axle/boots.

if it happens when you are reversing too, its definitely the rack and pinion.

Had an annoying creak that eventually turned into a clunk in the front end. Suspension had no play in it at all and I started suspecting the rack as well but it wound up being the rear control arm bolt was under torqued.
