Hey guys,

I know a couple of guys were interested in hearing how the stock exhaust sounds with just aftermarket mufflers. Well I just had a set of OBX mufflers I got off eBay, I think they were $65 shipped each. I love the sound, and like many I had to keep it practical for my family.

Unfortunately my camera doesn't really catch bass; it sounds a lot lower and deeper in person while driving, and it has no drone in the cabin at all. Video below!

Exhaust Clip! :p

Nice job. I had a full exhaust once on my TSX and it was one of the quieter ones but I still couldn't stand all the noise on the cabin. You mig have a nice compromise there.

Thanks for the pics. Those would look amazing with the cans painted black. Could you give more description as to how this sounds in the cabin and at WOT? I just sold my exhaust bc it was too loud but this might be an option for me. Most exhausts have a bunch of noise and vibration around 2,500rpms....how is this one?

More sound clips would be awesome.

I'll try and get some other sound clips, but like I said my camera doesn't really catch the bass for it. The sound in WOT is really nice, and compliments an intake as I can hear both. When you're cruising between 2.5 - 3000 RPM you can really hear the deep tone. There is pretty much 0 drone in the cabin between those RPM points.

Every shop is going to be different w different prices. Your best bet is going to be to call your local shop, tell them what you want and what you have and let them quote you a price.

that was no problem for the muffler shop to attach still though?
How much they charged you for the weld on? I might jump on this!

Exactly what jvillefinest said, they charged me $150 to weld them both on. However, they did it right; they put hangers on the mufflers and didn't just fill the inlet with weld, they used 2.5 to 2.0 pipe.
