So after drinking my car some, ill hear the noise when my rpms are in vtec land, then I mess with the hvac controls either turning it off or on lo and that gets it to stop for the rest of my driving that day. How bizarre...

i got this sound on RL as well when vtec hits. never found what it was but i will check out the hvac settings maybe its same thing
