what is worse that could happen with stretch tires? besides not lasting as long im on 215/35/18 on some 18x10 and someone told me its not safe to drive

everybody's doing it right?! so what could possibly go wrong besides thiss lol. my honest opinion and don't take it personal but stretching tires has to be the worse thing i've seen on cars. i rather rock those altezza tail lights and rice out my car before doing that.Meh...nothing much :dunno:

the History of this started in Germany for those who don't know and it was because the law states that tires couldn't exceed the fenders so those who ran wider rims stretched their tires to keep it within regulations.

google it. this topic has been discussed so many times and it always results in two sides arguing. 215 is really pushing it for a x10.

nvm i lied its 215 in fron with 8.5 225 in back with the 10s is that still to much stretch

i have 225/40 on a 18x10. there will always be people who are against the tire stretch thing, just do your thing, its you car.
and minty z wrecked his z cause he was drunk driving, nothing to do with stretch.
