Tekn0mage's Quick Review of Hondata for M/T TSX

Just wanted to let you guys know... the TSX reflash is by far one of the best mods you can possibly do. If you are curious in ANY way: JUST DO IT.

Beware however: Your car will be faster, meaner and pull harder than you were previously used to. Your girlfriend/spouse may not like that.

The biggest gain has to be between 3-6k rpm's. This is all useable for every day driving. When you step on your gas, you're going to feel the extra pull, no doubt about it. While Hondata is tuned for an Intake and Headers, you can certainly have the mod without. I have no aftermarket header, but am still enjoying the benefits of Hondata.

Bang for buck, Hondata is the BEST performance mod.

See my dyno:

Red line: Hondata + Injen CAI + Comptech Exhaust

Damn, nice car for teenagers! Much better than the 89 Civic Si I had back in the day. Well, 93 is $2.29 a gallon here now. It was nearly $30 to fill up yesterday.

BTW, nice gains! :D

A/T is highly benifit from the Hondata also ~ saw the dyno chart .. it's awesome .. ~
u should expect 20~30hp gain in the mid range .. ~
fuel comsumption will be increased for sure with the diff settings of the ECU
:sprint:

Your gas mileage should not be worse, unless you are always going WOT...anybody that gets this mod will more than likely experience worse gas mileage for this reason. I know I would!
Magnuson Moss Warranty Act

Here again refer to the warranty act...it will not void your warranty unless it is proven to be the cause of the failure/damage to your ride. Of course this act pertains to folks in the USA. I'm not sure if Canada has something similar to it or not.
