So i went to the post office this morning to mail out a few parts with my daughter and i guess when i parked the car rolled a little bit forward and i did not notice because i was trying to tend to my daughter. anyways so leaving to go home and i start to reverse the car to hear a crash and see something flying in front of the car (Grill). well here is the after math of what happened. well all i can do is laugh and be happy i made it home safely lol. I guess its a good thing i was planning on doing the body work and repainting the car so maybe this might be the opportunity to complete the 06+ front end lol.

Under panel also ripped out and decided it wanted to take my side skirt out with it since it didn't want to go out solo.

this is the bracket for the side skirt

It takes a real man to admit that this happened. Kudos to you. I fear the same anytime I'm driving anywhere! Thanks for taking one for the team.
ouch!! i feel for you man, i curb one of my wheels yesterday for the first time and it felt like my stomach was twisted (of course, not as bad as this)

good luck man!
One of those things that will only happen once. Now you'll be 5 feet from the curb
I always look out for those things. Front lip usually sits 3 inches lower than those so I would do some nasty damage if I ever hit one.

Damn I threw out a OEM 06+ bumper last week. Needed a few repairs but since you do body work it would have been good.
Nice... It happen to me 5 years ago but only thing i was on stock height lol....happens to the best of us...Goodluck

Thanks, i'm not afraid of admitting it happened and i am at fault but there's nothing that could be done but to fix it now

more like i'll never park there if there is a parking stub lmao!

wanna go digging in the trash for me!? its not going to be a bad fix though. i just have to take my time and get everything. The under panel i'm getting for free cuz of my rewards points with my local Acura Dealership and i'm pricing an aftermarket bumper. As for the side skirt i have to see if the bracket is salvageable and i purchased a used side skirt last year for $10 and kept it for a day like this! i guess i'll shop around for a 06+ Grill and just go carbon fiber hood since i have reason now right! but this can just wait until I come back from my road trip in a couple weeks.
im sure this has happened to most of us before. thats why i aLways back in when i park.

lmfao! this is not how the car looked when we met up the other day right! well at least i will always reverse from hear on out!
I hit the curb in the front with my Euro R front lip while staring at hottie walking by, lucky only one side from the fender pop out and i was able to pop it back in. (So embarrassed and painfully at the same time)
I've done that too. The first week I had my car lowered. I pulled Into a shitty driveway and on my way out ripped off my bumper. It's never fit the same since. :/ that very same day I let my parents borrow my car and my sideskirt got all sorts of fckedup

Been driving dropped cars for about 12 years and never once had a problem though. I'm really not bothered by it cuz my only concern was my daughters safety with her being with me.
wowzers!
Sucks man. But you say you do body work? If so how much to paint a front bumper MR oem I scratched mine:-(
Shit happens, best of luck with the repair

you want the whole bumper painted or just a touch up? whats hard about the MR is that two colors are sprayed on the achieve the red which a base color of an Orange is sprayed on and followed by a burgundy type red and then its cleared. depending on how minor it is all you might need is to touch up that area and blend it in.

yes it does happen. i need quite some parts cuz its not just a bumper that i need unfortunately. i'm not going to stress it though cuz at least i have other vehicles to use and i can park this up and take my time to finally do what i have to in order to get her all fixed.
Ouch! But am glad it's nothing safety related!!

Whenever I encounter an ass block like that, a good point is if the car next to you is dark color or reflective enough, you can use them as a mirror to gauge how far you need to go. Or else just park way off with your ass sticking out, luckily TSX is not that long.. :)
Ouch. I make sure I'm not close enough for that. I'd rather have somebody hit me car so insurance can take car of it. Haha! (sad but true) I let my rear or front stick out if necessary. And keep the 04-05 front. IMO, it looks better with the fog lights looking optional. Wouldn't change mine if I had a chance
