I have a 2004 TSX and I am currently running Eibach Pro kit spring on stock shocks (which need to be replaced)

I am looking for a good deal/cheap shocks:

KYB GR2 SHOCKS? or TOKICO HP BLUE SHOCKS?

Or anything under $300 which would be better than ^..any ideas?

I'm on the same boat... I would go for koni yellow's personally since those are one of the best shocks... but currently debating on coilovers myself... but out of those two, i would got with tokico, since they are known to handle drops better and wont blow out as quick as the KYB stock replacements

Tokicos is going to be stiff and bouncy, I heard great things about Koni. Eventhough you didn't mention that, I would look into it

I have the Tokico blues (HP's) and they are great on the mild Tein H-Tech drop. No bounciness, smooth ride, well controlled rebound, and flat, stable cornering.

I have no experience with KYB's but a few local guys all said they'd take the Tokico's over the KYB's any day of the week for a car with a mild to moderate drop. If you were severely dropped (and I'd consider Eibach Pro-Kit to be moderate, not severe), then the Koni yellow are great but for a less than 2" drop the Tokico blues are just fine IMO.

I'd only go with the tokicos or kybs if you were not lowered at all.

+3! Don't cheap out here. At the bare minimum, get the Koni's. Other wise look into Tein, BC, F&F or Tanabe coilovers.

P.S. At one point, I had Tokicos on the TSX. I HATED IT and took them off within a week. Got the Neuspeed/Koni Super Cup kit and loved it!

I've owned both Tokicos and Koni. Tokicos are bareable but the Konis are MUCH better in terms of handling, adjustable, and comfort. If you don't mind a significantly bumpier, bouncier, harder right then Tokicos are decent. IMO It was worth the extra price for the Konis.

I never had it but I was going to buy one until I rode a member with that setup. TS-SEX had it and it was too bouncy and stiff. At lease on my stock strut my ride was bouncy but it was comfortable while the Tokicos made the TSX feel like a dump truck. We both had H-Tech springs and TS-SEX sold it in less than 3 month I believe.

When I had Tokicos I tried two different springs. First was the H-Techs and then Neuspeed Sports. IMO the ride sucked with each on the Tokicos.

i had konis w. tanabe df210s and loved it and my konis are f.s. ha, but seriously i loved my konis and everyone i know rocks konis if they are running spring shock combo and sometimes with gc coilovers

In my experience Tokico Blues were so crap.

With Tein S-Tech's, 1.7/1.3

And with GC's as well.

I ran KYB AGX adjustable shocks on my last car w/ an Eibach Pro Kit, and I was happy with them. Dialed all the way stiff, they were great for autocrossing.

I would honestly use moroe shocks before i ever uses tokico blues again. back in 2000 i had a 92 teg slammed on them and seriously they blew out in 6 months
