Going to be picking up a trunk lip spolier and maybe the one that goes at the end of the roof line ( sorry for my noob like descriptions).

Anyways , it seems these simply stick on with 3m tape ? Is this safe ?

I just picture my spolier flying off at speed and smashing into someone's car. I've always had bolt on spoilers hence my concern .

Thanks guys

My all stock 04 has the original factory spoiler. Each side is bolted on. You will probably also need the wiring harness bits and different trunk springs to handle the added weight of the spoiler.

Cold weather is very foreign to me. But the 3m VHB tape is rated to work in temperatures as low as -59 C according to their data sheet. This performance assumes that the tape is properly cured though.

Apply the tape when the weather is dry and temperature is at least 21 C and also pick up a can of adhesive promoter for insurance. 90% of the curing takes place within the first 24 hours and 100% curing is 72 hours. As long as it doesn’t rain during the curing period, you should be good to go.
