So...
I used to drive the fully loaded 2002 Accord Coupe V6 w/ 200 hp and 195 lb torque. I'm now seriously looking at a TSX, but have read a lot of posted comments about the lagging automatic transmission. My question is - the TSX is a smaller car (correct?) and also a ligher car (?) with the same horsepower as my old car (200hp)...will the 25 lb torque defecit really make the TSX feel that much slower than the Accord? My old car didn't feel muted at all; quite the opposite actually - it had a lot of punch and get up and go.

How do you all think they compare? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

There's more torque from the V6 compared to the L4 on the TSX. Acceleration may not feel as "punchy" or "torquey" simply based on the engine configuration and displacement. But all in all, the performance on the TSX shouldn't be too far off if anything better.
