so... my 2003 Lexus IS300 blew the head gasket and yadda yadda yadda @ 229k miles...

found me a 2005 Acura TSX with 72k for $12.5... and i just picked it up!

please give me wise words of wisdom on this 2.4 honda beast!

Welcome! How would you compare the TSX to the IS300 performance wise. Is your TSX manual or auto? Reason I ask is my best friend had an Auto 2001 IS300 back in HS 00-04. I loved that car back then. I got the TSX years after he got rid of his IS and couldn't compare as I had forgotten how it drove. You're the first person I know of that went from IS300 straight to TSX, so I'm just curious lol

I'm kinda in the same dilemma right now.
I have an 03 IS300 auto, my first auto. It's been a good car but I miss a manual transmission.
I found a few 06 TSX 6 speeds near me and i'm considering jumping on it.
I miss 6 speed Honda transmissions since I owned a S2000 previously.

The TSX has the same functionality as the IS300 and I don't think I'll miss it that much.
The IS300 is a dog off the line it's slow lol

OP congrats on your purchase and i'm looking forward to seeing your review on the TSX so it can help on my purchase
