If chains don't help, you might just be driving too fast.

Traction and chains aren't magical concepts - you still need to drive carefully.

yep, snow tires and such and 4 wheel drives means nothing if you hit a slick patch

Thanks, TRU!
Pop-ups??? Shame on you!! I mean it!
Even just regular spam is bad enough, but pop-ups = no class.

Larchmont, who has a bit of moralist in him.

Back to topic: I didn't know chains were around any more!

I've found the TSX to be very good in snow etc., and I'm surprised a lot of people find it bad.
Last year's winter was one of the worst ever around here (lots and lots of snow, even though Bob Shiftright posted his usual charts and data showing it wasn't so bad) :D and my TSX handled it with aplomb.

Larchmont, who never really knew what that word means.

Acura of Lynnwood had a special on chains this past winter.

So I guess they're still in use - probably in the mountainous regions.

Gotta disagree on this one (Gods of safe poor weather driving don't jinx me for saying this) but my TSX has been very stable in the snow. I feel the TSA kick in every now and then and I'm certain that the car drives better in the snow than the manual rear wheel drive Lexus and Infinitis I looked at.

Now please all pray that I'm not proven wrong sometime, LOL.
