Hey guys, have a new V6 TSX that is making some noises. I just want to know if they're normal. First, there is a "whooshing" or "whining" noise that gets worse on acceleration, doesn't always happen, doesn't seem related to temperature, etc. Almost sounds kind of like a turbo spooling up? The other noise is a metallic rattling that comes and goes, but seems to happen in the bottom of the rpm band. I thought it was the heat shields but I had em checked at the dealership and they said the heat shield checked out. Any ideas?

A 4-cylinder TSX. Before that I had an Accord. Both were K24Z3's.

Are there any known tranny issues with these? I noticed the tranny whistles a lot, and it also downshifts hard occasionally.

The metallic noise seems to be a lot worse when it's just me in the car. With a full tank or a passenger I do not notice it as much or at all. Perhaps there is something amiss with the suspension?

uhmm... you know, I also noticed this on my 10 TSX V6 it happens rarely though
