Has anyone used the Vibrant defouler without any of those restrictor inserts without having any CEL?

I'm using the insert with the biggest hole, but I've noticed a little rattle at low rpm and after a lot of searches I've noticed it is related to one of those little restrictor insert from the above picture.

I'm wondering if removing the restrictor will work without any CEL ?
So I want to see if there are other persons here who uses this without any restrictor ?

Hello again, you are getting close...

I didn't have this issue, but if indeed it is from the insert, soon enough it will get stuck in place just by sitting in the exhaust flow. If you have no patience to wait for this, I'd take it out, no big deal there. If you get the code, you can repack it in with some aluminum foil to take the free-play out, but I suspect that you'll be fine without one as well.

Either way, without trying it out one can only guess as this is not something that you can compare from one TSX to another. Each O2 sensor will have different sensitivity and be unique to you.

With that said, I'd try it out...
