I’ve had the Vsa light since I’ve owned the car in February
I’ve tried the method with the 4 to 9 pin and ABS reset, which actually made the Vsa light go off but a few weeks later came on
Key thing about this!! Is that before I drive a certain distance I’m still able to turn off and on the Vsa light until I drive a certain distance the Vsa light stays permanently until I turn off the car
It wouldn’t do this before and now it does, but the Vsa light won’t go away after I push the button
Should I change the vehicle speed sensor for this to go away or look into something else?

Get a scantool and check for DTCs. Good chance it's something simple like a wheel speed sensor, but you really need to narrow it down a little.

If you're going to own an older car you should have a scantool anyway, you can get one for $30-60. If you can't swing that, take it to an autoparts store, they will usually scan your codes for you (in hopes of selling you parts).

If you'd rather just try the parts cannon, yeah I'd replace the wheel speed sensors.
