hi there,
i have a a/t 2004 tsx
i always use trip tronic when i need to really give it
but something is strange about the power on the 3rd gear
like the first gear and second gear pull pretty good, hit vtec, 7000rpm and then i switch to the next gear
but when i get to 3rd gear, it seems to struggle between around 4800rpm to around 6000rpm (before vtec). after vtec kicks in its good to go.

is that normal? or just me?

Yea it's fairly normal. Your running out of power and if your running through the gears that means by the time you hit third your around 80mph.

i believe 3rd tops out at 160kmh
