Hi All,

What is this part from 2005 tsx? I have a rattling coming from it when in drive, or reverse and it gets worse the longer I drive the car.

The metal part with the "B" on it

It's just the heat shield for the header. Might be a loose bolt of you could need a new one.

From.my understanding most heat shields along the exhaust and this one aren't necessary to remain on. I had a friend who removed almost all his heat shields with no issues and suggested I did the same when the one above the cat started to vibrate and rattle turning the car on and off. Take it with a grain of salt though like I said I'm not sure. I did remove the one above the cat with no noticable issues. And minus one annoying ass noise
