I have tried trouleshooting but i cannot figure out what this button does.

Which button, the one that controls the moon roof (left) or the one that controls the interior dome lights (right)

The one on the left controls ur moonroof, the right button controls wether ur dome lights r off or on when the doors open. If u put the switch in the off position the dome lights will never turn on. If u leave the switch in the door position the dome lights will turn on when ur door opens.
