I just won a dispute in court today for not wearing the seat belt.... it was a long time ago when i got pulled over (Aug 2004).... the cop pulled me over for speeding but after he got my driver licence and insurence the told me that i have a clean driving record... instead of a speeding ticket he will be charging me for not wearing the seat belt.... i told him i took off the seat beat to get my insurence that is in my glove box but he ignored me and wrote me a ticket....

today in court when the judge ask the cop what happened the cop said he doesnt have any evidence for the charge....

i m sooo happy now it saved me $109 and the most important thing is i was wearing my seat belt and i should not get charge for not wearing the seat belt.....

It's very unfair....only young people are picked on!! I see those old ladies and aunties with tinted front on their S and A4s and such......and they NEVER get charged! IF they do, there won't be so many on the street!
