Hey guys/gals,
I have a 2010 Acura TSX (auto) with around 43k miles on it. A whistling type whine sound started occurring. However, it doesn't do it all the time. So that makes me think it isn't necessarily a mechanical issue, or at least a major one. Also, this seems to be slightly different than what I read on here when I searched Google on my problem. The car only makes the noise under light to moderate acceleration. As the RPM's rise, the noise gets louder and seems to start around 4k if I let the car slowly accelerate. Under hard acceleration it does not happen. It's hard to determine where the noise is coming from, but seems like it's coming from somewhere in the front of the cab. I have not determined if it is coming outside of the car or the inside. I do run the A/C a lot as well.
Has anyone else experienced this in this manner?
Thanks!
