HELP!

My TSX just passed the 55000 miles mark and is no longer covered under warrenty. Little tiny problems started to happen. But the most recent one is that my "maint' required" light stays on now, and I have a full tank of gas, unfortunitily my low fuel warning light is flashing with my red needle passed the Empty mark, saying I have no fuel. I was thinking it is the sensor thats acting up, what do you guys think?

maint required u can get rid of that by holding down the rest button on the tach or
how many sec i forgot, u can read the man.

and are u saying when u DO have low fuel ur lowe fuel light comes on?

I think he's saying the exact opposite - he's got a full tank of gas, but the gauge reads dead empty, like when you have the car turned off.

I think it might be the gauge that's having issues, not the sensor.

Sorry, I typed all that in a hurry. I have a full tank, but my meter reads dead empty with the low fuel warning light flashing. I came from a 92 civic eg6 to the tsx, all problems used to be easy fixes, for me, now this car is completely electrical. I really have no clue what’s going on…

shit that's so gay which happens JUST after warranty expires

take it back to them... ask them if they will fix it
or at least they can find out wut's the problem... u don't have to have them fix it

and u can call acura and tell htim saying how close it was after ur warranty expired
maybe they will fix it this time. good luck.

Start complaining that it's a safety issue, like how dangerous it would be if you ran out of gas right on the freeway because of a busted fuel gauge.

Complain all the way to Acura HQ if necessary.

When i had a MB, alot of people who did not fill thier tank even when the light is on had sorta the same issue. They end up replacing the pump or soemthing in the gas tank.

I personally always fill up 1/4 to empty before the light turns on all the time.

I took my car in today for numerous reasons:

1. The light for the passenger seat warmer switch is busted.

2. I had a vibration issue when I break which was said to be due to the alignment, but after I paid the dealer a good amount of money for the fix, the car still vibrates. Now they are resurfacing the rotors for free.

3. Whenever I break, the driver seat slides a little. After 2 months of struggling with them, the dealer is now replacing the seat.

4. The dealer said the malfunction of the fuel gauge is due to the manufacture defect of the whole speedometer, I am hoping they are right, because I will be without a car for 3 days. And they said the parts are ordered, and never mentioned the price, hopefully they are covering that by warranty.

What a bad experience with Acura, especially dealers, it seems like something always goes wrong a while after oil changes or easy maintenance, had the same type of problem when I used to take my civic in for service. I finally decided to fix my own car, and no more problems. Are they messing up the car just so I can keep going back for various reasons?
