can you tell me anything about the noise/"grizzly" sound of the weapon r before and after you weld in a HFC?
and same thing with the "rotten eggs" smell before and after HFC.
is the weapon r worth it, to drive it with an HFC?

big thanks :)

a cat definitely cuts down on the raspiness and fumes associated w/ a race header

i don't know what you mean by worth it? but if you mean performance, you lose a little top end but get more back pressure

so, in other words, its a cure for those who used a k20z1/a3 head + CAI + RBC, those high end power benefits but lose low/mid end torque/hp.....

hey i got my header but it might be a while before i install it. a few questions
1. did you extend both o2 wires?
2. of so, how much??
3. might be moving to cali (thats why the install might be delayed), how often does the car need to get inspected. in CT it's every 2 years....

thanks

1. just the one towards the front of the car
2. not sure, marcus did the wire extension for me when i had my weapon-r headers installed
3. not sure, just had my car smogged last year (mine's an 04)

GREAT REVIEW!!! ok so here's a ?, would this compare to a comptech header or is it just about the same or is this slightly better? im planning on getting hondata reflash and while i have the car out of commission install the header and what not....also can i pair this with an RT cat or magnaflow? dont really like the thought of the test pipe just a thought, and the reason for all this is cause that review was so good id rather get this just want some feedback, thanks in advanced guys

a cat would need to have flanges welded on and take the place of the test pipe. something a good exhaust shop SHOULD be able to do fairly quickly. I have heard pretty good reviews of this header, but I would also suggest looking at the W-R for comparison. I have had the TS header (2pc.), Comptech and now the W-R and the W-R is the closest comparison to the PLM header. W-R and PLM dyno numbers are close to each other and both are better than the CT-E power wise; neither has the fit & finish of the CT-E though.
